Who We Are

Solvane is a fitness application designed for women navigating perimenopause and the midlife transition. We take the privacy of health data seriously — especially yours.

What We Collect

Account Data

• Email address and display name (used for authentication and your profile)
• Created via Firebase Authentication (Sign in with Apple or email/password)

Fitness & Health Data

• Workout logs: exercises completed, sets, reps, dates
• Symptom check-ins: energy level, sleep quality, symptom flags (e.g. hot flashes)
• HealthKit data you choose to share: steps, resting heart rate, HRV, workout sessions

App Usage Data

• Streak and XP progress
• Avatar customization state
• Notification preferences
• Subscription status (managed by RevenueCat)

How We Use Your Data

• Personalize your workouts — goal type, fitness level, equipment, injury history, and daily symptom check-ins drive plan generation and intensity adjustments
• Sync with Apple Health — with your explicit permission, we read HR/HRV/steps to inform intensity and write completed workouts back to HealthKit
• Maintain your streak and XP — stored in your Firestore profile, never sold or shared
• Process your subscription — RevenueCat handles all payment processing; we never see your payment card details

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your health or symptom data for advertising targeting
• We do not share your data with data brokers
• We do not use tracking SDKs or advertising networks

Health Data Protection

Symptom check-in data (energy, sleep, hot flashes) is field-level encrypted before being stored in Firestore. The encryption key lives in your device's Keychain and is never transmitted to our servers. This means even Solvane's infrastructure cannot read your raw symptom data.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@solvanefit.com or through the app (Profile → Account → Delete Account). Deletion removes all Firestore data within 30 days.

Children

Solvane is rated 17+ and is not directed at anyone under 17 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

We'll notify you of material changes via the app or email before they take effect.
